It was announced in North America on the 02/3/03. The Toshiba PDR-4300 will be sold for 169in the United States, considered affordable for such a camera. The PDR-4300 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1600. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1200 x 800, 720 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Toshiba PDR-4300 has been set at 3:2, making a camera of 3.8 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the PDR-4300 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Toshiba added a digital zoom on its PDR-4300 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 80 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the PDR-4300 is 1/2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Toshiba PDR-4300 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the PDR-4300 measures 1.6 ".
There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
