Toshiba unveils its new conception, the Toshiba PDR-5300 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 15/9/03. The PDR-5300 delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Toshiba PDR-5300 is 4:3, making a camera of 4.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the PDR-5300 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Toshiba added a digital zoom on its PDR-5300 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the PDR-5300 was set at 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Toshiba PDR-5300 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the PDR-5300 diagonally measures 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
